4. Auto-shutoff: Once you hit 5 friends, Looking for Friends turns off automatically. The system is designed to help readers get started building a community, not to leave you in a permanent open-discovery mode forever.

Your profile needs to be set to public to appear in the pool — which is worth double-checking in your settings if you want to be found.
